Startup Idea: Web-based Business Information and Media Management System for Chamber of Commerce

Startup idea to devise a web-based application designed to manage and organize business data and relevance photos of each member businesses in Chamber of Commerce. The system will have the capability of storing and quickly referencing data such as contact info, membership type, and more. It will also manage imagery for use in social media postings, advertisements, and on the chamber's website.

I manage the office of a local Chamber of Commerce. We've had a hard time keeping track of all the relevant data and files for each of our member businesses!

We need an interface a little more sophisticated than just a spreadsheet or folder system. Each of the businesses has contact info, membership type, and a whole slew of business data that we use to help recommend businesses to potential clients and visitors. This information is important to easily and quickly reference while on the phone.

We also have a whole bunch of photographs for use in social media postings, advertisements, and on our website. We need a good way to keep track of what photos are of what business, but also keep track of their subjects, etc. in general, so if we are designing an ad or a flyer, we can easily find photos that fit our need.

It would be great if it were web-based - we love the convenience of google docs, but it would be better to have something custom with all of the info in one place!.
