Startup Idea: GPS Tracking App for Elderly Care

Startup idea to develop a permission-based GPS tracking mobile app. Aimed primarily at helping caregivers monitor their elderly loved ones who prefer some independence, but can also be utilised in various other situations requiring GPS tracking.

I have an older parent, who can sometimes be very absent minded. I would love to keep track of my parent who is forgetful but still wants to be somewhat independent. I would simply love to plant a chip in them, but that is taboo, probably unsafe as can be, and highly INSULTING. What I am proposing is brilliant and should be simple to put together, a simple app where you can track others by gps as long as they allow it on their phone. The app should be a simple gps tracker, where it can track a phone that has been permitted to be tracked. This could help with multiple situations and could be marketed multiple ways.
