Startup Idea: Library Data Analytics for Tailored Programs

Startup idea to develop a software that analyzes library data (books, genres) and tabulates popularity metrics among various age groups. The system would support filters and segmented demographics to enable the creation of more engaging and personalized programs for library patrons.

I work as a library assistant.

Part of my job is helping to come up with programs for the youth and for those are patrons of our library.

It'd be nice if there was a software that could tabulate which genres or books are the most popular for that week or month amongst various age groups. This way we could create more interesting or compelling programs for our different age groups.

It'd be nice if we could filter by genre or just by book. Or filter by specific ages. So if we wanted to create a program for ages 3-7, then we could choose 3,4,5,6,7. Or if we wanted to create one for ages 10,11,12 and then also choose another one in the same vein but for older kids then also, at the same time, choose 15,16,17. So being able to pick and choose which demographic would help.

If I were in the position to make decisions about paying for this software then I would. But I would advocate mad hardcore for this since it's something we struggle with!.
