Startup Idea: Examiner Tracking and Appointment Management Software for Paramedical Industry
I work in the paramedical industry and our company performs mobile life insurance exams. We have several field technicians that go to the client's homes to perform exams. Once the exams have been completed for the most part we can see a partial image online. However, it would be nice to have some type of software not necessarily GPS but some sort of software that we can track the time the examiner arrives and how long the actual appointment took.
Our scheduling system is currently setup to block out a certain amount of time based on the services being requested but it seems to provide to much time for the appointment therefore, we are not able to complete as many exams possible which pushes out our time service. If there was software that could better provide actual lengths of appointments, it would be a huge asset and allow us to increase our turn around time and reduce our time service.
I would pay for software to calculate and average on a day to day basis the length of the exam appointments. In doing this, I would also like to have reports that would allow us to know if the examiners were running late to appointments and determine what percent of the appointments there arrive to on time.
This would serve as two purposes. It could better provide the amount of time necessary in addition to knowing arrival time and departure time. This the latter of the the two items, it would also allow us to be able to track if the examiner had an issue and did not arrive to an appointment so we could immediate check on there whereabouts and if they were okay.
