Startup idea to develop an asset management software for the biotech sector, featuring a searchable database for tracking technology assets including computers and phones. The software should enable tagging each device as it enters or leaves the storage room.

I work in the biotech industry as an IT manager for a company focused on cancer prevention. My business continues to give out devices such as computers and phones without any major tracking. A software we would be interested in purchasing has to do with asset management, more specifically software in the form of a searchable database for different types of technology that would be given out throughout the company both on-site and remotely. This software would contain a scanning feature so we can tag each device as it enters/leaves our storage room.
