Startup Idea: Project Management Software for App Publishing

Startup idea to develop a project management tool targeted at streamlining the process of app publishing. The system should track the progress, send reminders to responsible parties, making it easier and less time-consuming for businesses in the Oil & Gas industry to publish apps internally and publicly.

I work in the Oil & Gas Industry, on a team that develops and publishes applications into the Apple/GooglePlay stores as well as making apps available for company devices.

one pain point in my daily job is the process that we use to make apps available in both our internal and the public app space. currently we have a lot of back and forth with the business and/or vendors when it comes time to publish. it would be great if we had a system that tracked what point the app was in the publishing process and sent reminders to the proper people when it was time for them to take action. this would reduce a lot of the back and forth work that we encounter daily.

yes i would pay for software that solved this problem.

if the software worked properly it would streamline the app publishing process for our internal and public apps. we would also be able to publish apps more efficiently because we would not have to go back and forth with the business/vendors.
