I work in a sales office for a production builder. It would be exceptionally helpful for the sales agents if they had each floor plan available in a software program with the base price attached. As the customer chooses options, the sales person would be able to drag and drop items onto the floor plan with the associated cost. For example: if the home comes with a two car garage as the standsrd, but the client wants a three car gsrage, the salesperson is able to drag the added item onto the floorplan, and the cost of the change is reflected in a line item on the same page.
