I work in my college's information commons. We often check out various things to students, equipment, rooms, etc.

Inventory tracking software isn't an issue. It's inventory tracking software that's tailored to our needs that's an issue.

Nothing we've found available allows us to include the information we'd like when checking out equipment to students, and it makes it a hassle to report damaged items that are returned to us, because we spend ages trying to even figure out who damaged it due to our archaic setup.

Some kind of system that automated the process of checkout, including a required photo of the item, and check in, with photos, sorting, and a database of checkouts that were easily accessible, would be perfect for us. It would save us time, money, and hours of headache.
