Startup Idea: Mobile App for Efficient Aircraft Component Damage Reporting

Startup idea to develop a mobile app meant to streamline the process of creating aircraft component damage reports. The app should allow for the input of pertinent information like part number, serial number, damage description, suggested repair, and photo capture. It should then be able to compile all the data into a PDF report with a single button press.

I work for an aviation company and one of our primary functions is repairing damaged aircraft components.

In order to do so we typically have to put together a damage report to send to the manufacturer to obtain a repair. This involves taking photos, then uploading them to a computer, entering the pertinent information into an excel sheet, convert this to a PDF and inserting the photos.

What would be much more efficient is a mobile application that would allow me to simply enter in the necessary information (part number, serial number, description of the damage, suggested repair) and take photos from right within the app... all of this information could then be easily exported to a pdf in a single button press. This would cut out some extra steps and be much more efficient than the current method.
