Startup Idea: Medication Management Simulation App for Nurses

Startup idea to develop a simulation-based application that assists new nurses in performing medication tasks efficiently. The app trains nurses on preparing medicines, reading doctor's orders, and familiarization with the types and dosages of various medications, enhancing overall time management skills.

I am a new nurse working in a skill nursing facility. As a new nurse, one can expect to care for anywhere from 7 to 40 patients during a shift. Most new nurses aren't properly trained on time management and end up learning bad, unsafe habits just to get their work done on time.

I have a difficult time passing patient medicine efficiently. I am not familiar with all the medications and normal dosage amounts.

I thought about creating an app that would help me practice preparing medicines and reading doctor's orders using a simulation. I would pay for an app like this because I stand to make $40,000+ per year in my industry. I would have made the app myself if I had the technical knowledge or knew someone with the ability.

An app that would simulation a medication pass and had access to a database of medications would be ideal. Maybe accessing the medications through an internet connection. I have searched the app store for an app like the one I described. I searched for med pass, medication pass simulation etc.
