Startup Idea: Customized Tour Aggregation Software

Startup idea to develop an online platform or software that aggregates and customizes tour activities based on individual preferences. This solution should allow users to filter and select specific tour providers based on the types of activities or experiences they offer, essentially streamlining the planning process for group travels.

I work in tourism and I one of the biggest pains is being able to produce customized tour routes for large groups of people. One of the things we try to do is separate tour groups into smaller groups depending on the interests of people involved. A tour in the mountains, for instance, would bring a large group of people. Some of them would want to hike, others would rather stay on the road and simply be shown the major peaks.

I'd like software, or perhaps a website, that would allow families, individuals, and groups alike, to be able to find specific companies that specialize in what they want to do. Some have been disappointed that we can't provide them with a helicopter ride over the Rockies, but there are companies that do that.

I think it would help the tourism industry a lot if there was an aggregating website that allows people to browse through different providers for travel activities and make comprehensive itineraries based on what each individual wants, and then direct them to the appropriate company.

Perhaps offering a small discount for using the site would be incentive for people to use it, kind of like flight ticket comparison websites.
