Startup Idea: Drone-based Telecommunications Tower Monitoring Software

Startup idea to develop a software that can analyze drone footage to automatically identify different connections and detect any faults within telecommunications towers. This will increase efficiency and reduce the cost associated with tower inspections, and allows for remote monitoring.

I am a telecommunications engineer. I'm tasked with monitoring and taking inventory of status and conditions of towers around the world. Normally I have to visit each location and climb each tower to check on each connection. After I do that I have to manually input the information. We are starting to use drone technology so I can avoid each structure. Now I do the checking with video images, but I still have to input al data manually. I would pay good money for a software that can identify the different connections and detect troublesom situations automatically. This way I could do my work faster and more efficiently so that I can do more visits in a day or even better. Have the viedos from other towers uploaded to my server. This would also bring costs down because its very different paying a drone operator than a professional technician that has to climb each tower.
