Startup Idea: Distributor Order Tracking Software

Startup idea to develop a software that simplifies the process of sending and tracking orders for small to medium-sized businesses. The software will standardize orders, centralize information from different platforms and provide clear payment dates.

I work at a small tea company that sells to various distributors at wholesale prices. Even using excel, it's sometimes a pain to keep track of all the orders. The only place we sell to that has an excellent system of order tracking is Amazon. I think a software that can be used by distributors to sent out and track orders would be an excellent idea. It would make things uniform and easier to find. It would standardize orders from places like KeHE and UNFI, which have very different websites, purchase orders, and payment terms. For example, in the software your SRM can put clearly the date you will be paid, instead of you having to hunt them down to ask (which can be difficult with these large corporations).
