Startup idea to develop an accounting software enhancement that automatically updates and corrects sales tax based on location to avoid billing errors, which is especially relevant to businesses dealing with clients across different states. This could lead to efficiency and accuracy in billing.

I work in the lighting industry. Today I billed a client out of state and learned that the sales tax issued on the bill was wrong. I was surprised that my accounting software didn't automatically correct the sales tax for me. If it had not allowed me to issue the incorrect sales tax ,it would have saved me a.great deal of embarrassment. With the very expensive price tag, I am surprised that there are more spell check.features on this software than mechanisms to look up and or correct data that is sensitive to changing legislation.
