Startup Idea: Sales Force Auto Call Logging Add-On for Efficient Workflow

Summary for idea #2594
Startup idea to create a Sales Force add-on that auto logs sales calls. Post-call, a user-friendly pop-up screen allows for a quick call description entry or dismissal if the call was non-sales related. This software initiative aims to save time, boost productivity and improve the overall work experience for salesmen struggling with the current system.

I work for a medical software company as a software salesman. The biggest pain in my ass is Sales Force. The software is the biggest piece of garbage ever made. It takes me longer to log all of my call then it does for me to make the call. This would be relatively simple from a making money standpoint. Sales Force has it's own app store so you just make these add-ons and sell them there.

So the problem is I make a call to a client which takes a few minutes normally then after I hangup the call I have to go log the call on Sales Force. So I have to dig through contacts to find who i just talked to, enter who called who, enter the date, why I called them or vise versa, what we talked about, and then when i was going to call them again. This takes a stupid amount of time to do even though it sounds simple. Some of the other sales guys and I actually ddos our Sales Force server so it goes down so we can have a productive day.

To solve it we just need Sales Force to auto log my calls. Then when I hang up I want a pop up screen that I can either enter in the description of the call or dismiss if it wasn't a sales call. Everything else can be autologged. It sounds like a really dumb problem, but everyone seriously hates it.Sales Force was created just to make sure sales people were actually working not to actually help salesmen.
