Startup Idea: Communication Tool for Private Practice

Startup idea to develop a communication software tailored for private practices. The application should allow the user to send notifications, reminders and task lists to students and parents, making schedule adjustments and task assignment easier and more efficient.

I work in private practice with students, though my needs aren't "educational". They are in regards to communication. Almost all students have cell phones that they access during the day as well as laptops. I would like a communication software that would permit me to send out a "blast" to parents and students when there is a schedule change or cancellation so that people are quickly notified, and I can reschedule more efficiently. I want to be able to have an interface where I can send reminders and "to do" items to students as well to assist in their daily executive functions. I would pay for software to solve this.
