Startup Idea: Inventory Management Software for Food Service Industry

Startup idea to develop a smart inventory management software tailored for the food service industry, specifically designed to help managers control the ordering and spending on products, reduce over-ordering by predicting the need and notifying when stock levels are low.

I work in the food service industry as the manager of a deli department in a grocery store. A big issue that I have been having lately is with the ordering of products. My goal is to be at 50% spent per item sold, but I am currently at an 87% and my superiors aren't very happy about it. This is because I usually end up over-ordering products. I think a software of some kind could help me stay on track. The software could tell me when I'm low on something so I don't end up over-ordering like I usually do. I would definitely pay for something like this.
