Startup Idea: Job Seekers and Recruiters Matching Platform

Startup idea to develop a dedicated platform where job seekers can post their skills, experiences and desired job areas/locations, allowing recruiters to search and contact them with opportunities. It would primarily serve people willing to be mobile with their job search, and recruiters seeking potential employees.

It would be great to have a berecruited style of site/software for job seekers. Somewhere that I, as a seeker, could post a profile with skills/experiences and desired job areas/locations. Then recruiters could search for me and contact me with opportunities. This would be great for people willing to be mobile with their job search, as well as a source for recruiters. If I want to be an engineer anywhere in the country, I could go to this site and anyone looking for an engineer could contact me. I was a former college coach and loved that the athletes came to me on that site, instead of having to search them out team by team. I know linked in sends out signals now, but a full dedicated site that matches seekers with recruiters would be very useful. I know that Linked-In is working on this type of service, but it is not fully developed yet.
