Startup Idea: Music Library Management Software

Summary for idea #262
Startup idea to create a sophisticated music library management software. The solution should be capable of collating all music files, sorting them based on the artist, identifying and deleting duplicates. It should have a function to save deleted duplicates for a particular period. The program should integrate with internet to fetch artist/album details and effective in differentiating audiobooks from music files.

I am an occasional online DJ and a music aficionado, to the tune of around 200 gigs of music. The problem is that I was not particularly organized from the start and several computer changes, backup drives, and that kind of thing have left me with a mess.

I have multiples of the same song, and music files on both my laptop and a backup drive, some of which are duplicates.

It's too many to just move to the laptop from the backup drive and sort from there, and WAY too many to sort out manually, or even with the assistance of a duplicate file finder. What I would like is a program that would:

a) get ALL the mp3s together b) sort them into folders based on the artist c) delete any duplicates d) maybe make a pile of "What is this, we can't even tell," issues for me to sort through myself.

A function to save any deleted duplicates for a certain period of time just in case would also be deeply appreciated. Integration with the Internet in some way to check for artist/album would be a lifesaver for files that have erroneous or incomplete details.

Also, I don't even know if this is feasible--something to sort audiobooks from music files would be AMAZING. I would imagine such a thing might work for other types of files than mp3s but that's my main concern.

I have tried using Auslogics Duplicate File Finder, as I said, but the second problem is I WANT one copy on the laptop and one copy on the backup drive, and the MESS when I search for mp3s is just too much to sit and handle by clicking, it would take me a week and probably drive me insane.

I also use Agent Ransack because Windows 7's search function is a joke no matter what I do to the settings. I kind of need for both those programs to have a baby that's crazy about music.

I've tried duplicate file finders but I haven't really looked for a specific music sorting program, I'd be a little wary of using something that might delete files I needed to keep.
