Startup Idea: Inventory Management Software for Mid-size Retailers

Startup idea to develop a comprehensive inventory management software suitable for mid-size retail companies. The solution aims to automate the entire process of inventory tracking and management, replacing manual methods and offering centralized control even when inventory moves across states and countries.

I work in retail for a mid-size company, not the biggest ones. We have trouble competing with the big companies (Walmart) because we haven't fully automated the process of inventory. Some of our inventory is still tracked by pen and paper or manually. I would like to see my company pay for software to manage inventory across states and countries as it is shipped across the earth. This way we can consolidate everything into one program rather than simply using a piecemeal approach, as we are doing now. I think my managers would look into paying for this if the price was right.
