Startup Idea: Roof Restoration Job Search Software

Startup idea to develop a software which is intended to assist the Commercial Roof Restoration industry find desirable job opportunities. The software should be able to search specified locations, identify commercial candidates made up of flat-sectioned roofs, certain square footage, and ideally estimate the condition of the roof, replacing the existing system of manual in-person scanning and Google Earth.

I work in the Commercial Roof Restoration industry. We deal with a lot of different coatings such as silicone and acrylic coatings. The biggest pain for us right now is finding job-worthy jobs. To elaborate on that... there are lots of jobs that we are willing to pursue if the profit margins are there. Though, the ideal jobs are not as likely to be the ones heavily trafficked with A/C units or are made up of incline roofs. We prefer to pursue jobs that consist of flat roofs with a light amount of units/skylights and has a substantial amount of square footage. We would definitely be willing to pay for a software to make this applicable. Depending on our budget, probably anywhere from $4-$5,000. A software that searches specified locations and identifies any commercial candidates that are made up of flat sectioned roofs, certain square footage, and ultimately the condition of the roof.

We currently use google earth for searching for specific jobs. We are able to measure the square footage as well as look at the inclines of the roof. In order to determine the condition of the roof, we have to do an in-person scan of the roof with an infrared scanner.
