Startup Idea: Motocross & Enduro Bike Maintenance Tracker App

Startup idea to build an application for scheduling and tracking regular maintenance services of motocross and enduro motorcycles. The app will be providing options to catalogue suspension settings for different tracks, expected maintenance such as oil changes, air filter cleanings, brakes pad replacements, etc. Integration with spare-parts suppliers for easy purchase and delivery tracker is also required.

These bikes when used seriously require rigorous service by the hour. Everything is counted in hours, and it is valuable to keep track of use and service, and maintenance. The things done are very predictable, such as oil change, air filter cleaning, brake pads, seals, bearings etc etc. Having a simple app for this would be perfect. We also keep track of suspension settings and settings for different tracks etc, which could be connected.

The business case comes from 2 sides. One is to make it the golden standard, with some kind of certifiability, which can be used to transfer service info when selling and buying the bike. Another option is to hook suppliers of spare parts etc into the system somehow. Keep track of things you need to buy, and automatically ship when you reach free delivery etc. Found fleetio, but they are more focus on heavy truck industries etc. Used it, but I tend to stop using after a while as it isn't a perfect match.
