Startup Idea: Simple Work Tracking Application for Small Businesses

Startup idea to develop a simplistic mobile app for small businesses, designed to track employees' work shifts and tasks. Features include login/logout tracking, hourly notifications, and a comment section per shift.

I work for a small start up as a projects manager for Graphic design and software development. I am always on the look out for programs, or better yet an app, that would allow me to simply track the work of the people under me.

Something MUCH more simple than what is available for this kind of tracking right now. Something as simple as a single tap, that tells me they have logged in and begun work, with a comment section for them to tell me what they've begun work on. There are many outdated programs that do this sort of thing for big businesses with subscription plans, but I need this functionality for a small time.

I would need it to track when they signed in for work (with their comment) as well as give them notifications on the hour to remind them an hour has passed and that they still have to tap again to log out. Something this simple would be extremely useful, and I've felt lately like I may have to design it myself!. Yes, multiple times. All I find are BIG business solutions.
