Startup Idea: Pro Se Information Management System for Legal Industry

Summary for idea #2686
Startup idea to develop a database management software specifically aimed at consolidating pro se information, legal advice, pleadings etc. The system should be capable enough to help non-profit legal organizations streamline their resource allocation by efficiently managing scattered pro se materials.

I work for a nonprofit in the legal industry that provides some potential clients with pro se materials rather than legal representation. While we use a fairly comprehensive management tool, LegalServer, to keep track of various cases and clients there is no software available to easily provide pro se information.

Because LegalServer primarily tracks clients that receive representation it is unable to centralize any general legal advice, pro se pleadings, or the like. Unfortunately a large amount of our resources are dedicated towards gathering scattered pro se information rather than simply providing it.

The best way to manage this problem would give our staff, or potentially even prospective clients themselves, the ability to efficiently discover the pro se information relevant towards their issue. It would likely be a database with general management tools. I would be willing to pay a subscription fee for a service like this, as it would allow us to focus on bigger clients.
