Startup Idea: Invoice Automation for Private Music Teachers

Startup idea to develop a software that simplifies the invoicing process for private music teachers. The software needs to be capable of batch editing invoice and lesson dates, calculating totals, converting invoices into PDFs, and creating standardized emails to send these invoices efficiently.

I am a private music teacher, and each month I have to invoice multiple families. The data that needs to be entered on each invoice is the same or similar (date of invoice/date of lessons/due date of payment/etc), and the text that goes in the emails is identical (save for the name at the top of the email and the invoice file attached to the email).

Currently I have to do each step manually, for every single student in my studio:

• edit the dates on the invoice (sent date, month date, and due date)
• edit the lessons scheduled for the month
• add up the total for the amount due
• save the file as a PDF
• attach the pdf to an email
• type the email text
• address and send the email

I would love a way to batch edit the invoice dates and lesson dates, and create the emails more efficiently!.
