Startup idea to develop a software for daily fantasy sports that allows users to backtest strategies against historical data. It should include a database of games, scores, and stats, with the ability to adjust weightings and incorporate user inputs. The software should also feature an auto-update functionality for easy database updates. This could be developed into a profitable subscription service.

I play daily fantasy sports for profit. I would like software for daily fantasy sports to backtest against historical data. Ideally it would contain a database of games, scores, stats etc. I could then adjust weighting to different factors to perfect a forecasting system. The program should be flexible enough to allow for user inputs. An auto one click feature to download and update the database daily would be brilliant. It could be a profitable monthly subscription service I think.

There is not a standalone program that I can find. There are many sub services but not a user customized backtesting program.
