Startup Idea: Transition Assistance Software for Credit Union Software Upgrades

Summary for idea #2711
Startup idea to develop a 'transition' assistant software or add-on, for credit union operational software which gets updated frequently. The software would inform users about changes since the last version and provide guidance on how to adapt to the changes. It should be easy to turn on/off based on the user's familiarity with the updated software.

I work in an operations center for a credit union, we use a lot of software having to do with interest rates, vehicle loans, credit cards, member accounts, etc.

I am in my 20's and have no problem adjusting every time the software on a frequently used program gets updated, however many of my older colleagues seem to have a lot of trouble with what I (and certainly those who create tech software) think of as minimal, barely noticeable changes (i.e. buttons moved down forwards a little, having to check a box to make sure your message is visible to the other party, etc.) Even though I don't have problems, when they make mistakes it often comes back on me having to fix it or do extra work to satisfy the unhappy customer.

I thought it would be a good idea if there was some 'transition' type of software/add ons for these programs - in transition mode, little blurbs or alerts could appear anytime something is done, whereas with the last version of the software it was slightly different, reminding you about the change or instructing you how to proceed. These could be the form of tiny text in a transparent bright color, that will stay on the page every spot needed that has changed. Once they get the hang of the software, you can turn off transition mode.
