I work in public accounting, and we're required to keep track of what client work we are doing all day long. I have tried to develop a spreadsheet to keep track, but considering we have to keep the increments in .1 of an hour, it is hard to determine what you were doing for each 6 minutes of the day when you have to recreate it later. If there was a software that could act as a "timer" but also keep a record that would integrate with our time entry system (where I have to indicate how many .1 of an hour I have spent on each particular client), I would save a lot of time during the week.
