Startup Idea: Real-time Customer Data Sync Tool for Marketers

Startup idea to develop a software tool that allows marketers to update customer information in real-time. The tool is similar to Excel and communicates with existing business systems, streamlining marketing data management.

I am a Marketing Manager for a company and have to execute marketing to a number of customers. An example would be that I market using direct mail.

We have a business system that contains customer information. That customer information can be accessed and pulled up in a spreadsheet for easy access of information. However, when I need to update the information for the customers, I have to go back into the business system, then reproduce the spreadsheet. I would like a program, similar to Excel, where I could update customer information and it feeds back to our business system in 'real time'. So, a two-way flow of information.
