Startup Idea: Restaurant Sales Data Analysis Software

Startup idea to develop a software that analyzes past sales data in restaurants to identify customer preferences and suggest potential new, popular menu items.

We work in a restaurant and our menu has gotten very stale. We started trying out new menu items but people did not seem to want to buy them.

It would be nice if we could have some data based on our past sales to see what kind of food people at our restaurant prefer most, and from that figure out what new things to offer.
