Startup Idea: Project Management Solution for Front-end Web Design Company

Startup idea to develop a custom online solution to track and display project progress for a front-end web design company. It will allow clients to log-in and check project milestones, reducing dependencies on calls and allowing designers to focus on their work.

I work for a company that does front-end web design. We built websites for our clients and work closely with them during the development process.

Currently the only way customers can get information on the project or find out how far along things are is by calling in and talking to the person that is working on their project.

It would be much better if the person working on the project could enter information about the project and what stage of production they are on, then have the information displayed online for the client to log-in and look at. It would save time on both sides and let the designers focus more on building the website than conversing with the client every time they have a simple question. I think in this case the solution would have to be customized more than what can be found online in a general solution.
