Startup Idea: Collaborative Real-Time Music Queuing App

Summary for idea #2762
Startup idea to develop an application that facilitates shared music control within the same WiFi network. Users will be able to add songs to a queue across multiple streaming platforms, with added functionality for upvoting and downvoting to collectively decide the order of playback.

When you're at a party or hanging out with friends, usually one person has the aux cord to play music. Alternatively, you are swapping out phones in between songs so that someone can play something else.

I'd love to see an app that allows you to create a music queue for everyone on the same WiFi network. So I could add a song to the queue after my friend's song playing currently. Note this is different than a collaborative playlist. It would be even cooler if it had cross-streaming platform support. So it could play a song through Spotify first, the next through Google Play or iTunes, and the next even a local file. You could also add an upvote/downvote system so that the group could veto a song or push a song up in the queue, etc.

This would be super useful in everyday life.
