Startup Idea: Manufacturing Process Streamlining Software

Startup idea to develop a software solution that enables efficient entry and application of corrections, changes, and ideas to manufacturing assembly processes. It should also feature automatic pairing with reports and potential real-time adjustments, plus process time estimation based on previous entries, to ultimately save time in small parts manufacturing.

I work in manufacturing and we still print off our 'instructions' for assembly pieces. Which is fine, but there is a lot of work that has to be done to correct any changes. It would be really nice if there was a program that people could enter in corrections, changes, ideas, or notes for processes. Currently it has to be written into a report and sent off, but it would save so much time if it could be entered and automatically paired up with its report, maybe even "corrected" pending approval. The main point is that it needs to get the information into the assembly process immediately so that people can have the current process to save tons of time. Small parts manufacturing can benefit greatly from any software that skims any time off. If it could also calculate times on processes based on previous entries, that would be great. There is software that does that to a certain extent, but they are often wildly inaccurate.
