Startup Idea: Software to Track Usage and Ensure Transition Compliance During Upgrades

Startup idea to develop a software solution that automatically tracks users' operation during software updates, ensuring compliance with procedures, and sends reports to the responsible team. Overrides confusion and issues during 'hypercare' periods by guiding the transition through analytics and insights.

I am a data collection expert for a pharmaceutical company. My biggest issue is in software upgrades and getting people to comply with changes.

When we update software, people don't respect the transition period. They don't check to ensure that they are completing all the procedures so that when the time is over and the hypercare period comes around, people call my office frantically. This was best seen when we transitioned to OneNote from our original Sharepoint site.

A software that tracks usage automatically and sends updates to our office would be appreciated. That way we can ensure that people are following the proper directions before crisis breaks out. This could be combined with an analytic foundation so my office can get a general overview of how the software updating is going.
