Startup Idea: QuickBooks-Compatible Data Segregation Tool
I am a Finance & Operations Assistant at a small manufacturing/wholesale company of hygiene products in New York.
Presently, I have been tasked with creating pricing sheets for individual clients, each of whom have different terms/minimums/products ordered/etc. which has made the process a major headache as our current software (QuickBooks Enterprise) gives us no way to export this information, leaving me to parse it out manually in Excel; with over 200 customers, simply moving basic information (e.g. addresses, names, phone numbers, etc.) has taken up hours of my time.
My suggestion is a QuickBooks-compatible program that would allow end users to easily segregate blocks of information all fitting a similar format, like addresses and phone numbers, in order to better manage their customers. This could also be done on the vendor-side. I have, but none exist when searching for data add-ons for QuickBooks. As I said above, I am now forced to do this by hand.
