Startup Idea: Automated Time Tracking Tool for Scientific Research Institutions

Startup idea to develop an automated time tracking software that will efficiently capture and tabulate work hours spent on various activities by employees at a scientific research institution.

I work at a scientific research institution with about 90 employees. We now track our time on boats or scuba diving for compensation reasons. Currently our only way to track the time is manually enter it in our timecard. However, a software solution to capture relevant type of work from our employee calendars and tabulate the time would be very useful.
