Startup Idea: Digital Inspection Software for Telecommunication Infrastructure

Startup idea to develop a software solution that can digitally match field-photographs with AS BUILT plans provided by contractors in the telecom sector. This automates the inspection process of cell tower construction sites, ensuring quality standards and reducing human error.

I am in the telecommunication business. We design and build cell towers all around the world. The problem that we have is that it is very hard to keep a standard of quality in construction with different contractors around the world.

We always provide the initial design for construction, but at the end of each job, the contractor provides us with AS BUILT plans, meaning, real plans of how the job actually turned out (this is because sometimes corrections have to be made in the field).

We spend a lot of resources by sending people to each site to inspect. We also have human behavior problems as well.

We are looking for a program that can match up photographs from the field provided by contractor and match them to the AS BUILT plans provided by contractor. If they match digitally then payment would be approved. We use AUTOCAD for designs.
