Startup Idea: PDF to JPEG Conversion Tool
I work from home as a Quality Control Editor. Part of my job involves making sure all attachments on our surveys are jpeg photos and not pdf documents. I wish there was a way to quickly convert a pdf document into a jpeg picture without having to pay for premium Adobe software or having to log onto specific websites, load attachments, and wait for it to convert. Time is of the essence when you are an independent contractor. It would be helpful to be able to convert pdf documents into jpeg photos in a matter of seconds. In the past, I paid for premium Adobe software because the premium version converted PDF documents into Jpegs right in the opened document. However, this software costs $10 a month, and I had to pay for it out of pocket because the company I am an Independent Contractor for would not pay for it. So, I currently use a website. I have to open and save the PDF document into my computer, go to the website, upload the document, choose to have it converted to JPEG, enter my email address, and wait for it to be processed. Once it is processed, the site does not send me the JPEG document but merely a link. I have to open the link, then click on yet another link which then takes me to a page with my JPEG document. I then have to save them to my computer and upload them to my work site. I do not get paid for any of this extra work, so it would be nice if there was a way to do this more quickly.
