When working under the jurisdiction of a city, county, or state, a planned project or potential development is subject to legal code, pursuant to that specific municipality, county, or state - usually all of the above. In some occasions, federal guidelines must also be considered.
Because any project/development must abide by and within multiple systems of code (building/zoning/master plan), it becomes very labor intensive to review all applicable ordinances.
Since this is all public record and accessible via the internet, there is an opportunity to develop an aggregation scheme to gather ordinance and code on a municipal/county/state-wide basis to easily search to cross-check the feasibility of a proposed project in a specific local.
