Startup Idea: Fast Food Waste Tracking Software

Startup idea to develop a software for tracking daily waste in the fast food industry. The software should track food waste due to overcooking, incorrect preparation and mistakes, and include a feature to add reasons for the waste. Ultimately, it should provide analytics to identify areas generating the most waste, aiding management in implementing waste reduction strategies.

I work in the fast food industry and if there was a software that tracked daily waste I think it'd be perfect.

It would include food product thrown away by mistake, overcooking food and incorrect food preparation. It would also include a space to put what caused the waste and why. Eventually it should be able to track where the most waste is being generated and allowing management to pinpoint these areas accurately and help save money. No, I haven't.
