Startup Idea: Personalized Gift Selection and Delivery App

Startup idea to develop an app that allows users to compile a list of items they desire as gifts, and allows their friends to browse this page and choose a gift to purchase. The app will be linked to the user's bank account and shipping address, and act as a social interaction platform. Upon purchase, the app will mark the item as bought and manage the delivery process.

I'm an HR at a manufacturing company. However, the problem I want to address today has only a little to do with what I do for work. It's more geared towards my family and friends. During the holiday season (or even birthdays and anniversaries), I spend too much time trying to decide what to get my family and friends as their gift(s). I wish there was an app/software where a person could pin what they actually want as gifts, anything from gift cards, video game, and a fancy watch. I want this app to be able to be 1) linked to my bank account, 2) linked to the shipping address, and 3) a social app where I can interact with my friends. Yes, there are already ways to tell people what you want, but I haven't found anything that is easy for me to use.

Basically, I want to save things on my "page" that I want (and haven't bought for myself already). Then when it's my birthday (11/7), I want my friends to go on my "page" and select a gift I've already saved for myself. That way, I get what I actually want and my friend doesn't have to waste 80 hours trying to decide what to get me (or worry about whether or not I'll like what he got me).

For example: I saved a cute sweater from Anthropologie in my size (small) on my page. My friend, Ted, goes on my page and browses the things I have saved on my page. He sees the cute sweater that I saved, and simply clicks "gift this item". Once he clicks that button, the total amount will be automatically taken out of his bank. The app then will notify Anthropologie that an item from their store has been purchased. Then the item will be sent to my shipping address, and it will have a card that Ted customized for me. I wish I had the abilities to start a business or develop an app for this... but I don't.
