Startup Idea: Video Request and Tracking System for Regional Transit Security Center

Startup idea to develop a flexible, non-proprietary tool for a Regional Transit Security Center. The tool should allow employees to request video footage, track the status of their request and receive alerts when the video is complete.

I work for a Regional Transit Security Center. We have thousands of cameras and handle thousands of requests for video footage on a monthly basis.

No tool exists for employees to request video and have us track the video and alert them when it is complete. All ticketing systems we have used are too proprietary or exclusive and do not give us the flexibility we need. Yes we have tried but have not been able to find what we are looking for.
