Startup Idea: Immunization Record Management Software

Startup idea to develop a software that automates the process of checking and managing children's immunization records, alerting staff when immunizations are about to expire.

Within my job I have to maintain immunization records on children, a lot of times their immunization records will have expired and I have to go through each child's record and check their immunization for an expiration date. I feel that software would solve this problem for me. Once the immunizations are entered in the software, there would be some type of alert letting me know that the immunizations are about to expire. This way I could let the parents know about the expiration before they expire.

My employer would pay for this type of software being that immunizations for each child are sent to the state. I have not find a solution, but would love to know if something like this existed.
