Startup Idea: Automation Software for Contractors Work Order Processing

Startup idea to develop a software that can read and categorize work orders for contractors, specifically tailored for those working with cable/internet services providers. The software would also have the ability to check upgrade orders to ensure there is no wastage of resources in the case where the customer already has the required setup, and the task is merely to change billing.

I work with a contractor who completes installs for a major cable/internet provider. I have to scroll through their work every morning to see what numbers are ported. It would be great if there was something that could read through the jobs, and sort them into different categories. It would also be great if it could check upgrade orders. Often the customer already has the equipment and set up they need. The work order is to change billing. However, they still get scheduled as an install. That causes a lot of money to be wated. No, I have not looked into options for this.
