Startup Idea: Project and Version Management Software for Video Production

Startup idea to create software to manage versioning in video production. The software should allow users to list project elements such as scripts, storyboards, etc., and track changes and versions of each element. This would offer a simple and efficient way to reference past requests and changes when dealing with clients.

I work with a video production lab producing promotional videos and Just in Time Training. When working with the client and within our team, we generate multiple passes of the storyboards, pre-viz, video, etc.

There are times when it can become difficult to maintain versioning, especially with a difficult client who doesn't know what they want.

I would like to have a versioning software where I can create a project and list the elements in the project:(example) Script Storyboard 3D image 1 3D image 2 Final Video Then, for each of the project elements, I could specify a folder/import the versions as they are created and the program manage them for me.

So when a client tells me to change the background to blue for the hundredth time, I can show them every instance where they had done it previously.
