Startup Idea: Cross-Agency Real-Time Collaboration Software
I work for a county agency. One issue I have in my County is using systems (i.e. word, excel) that can be used cross-agency, i.e. state-county, county-county, county-federal. Because of this lack in a system, we generally send files by email. This makes it difficult to keep track of updated changes. If I find an error or need to make changes, I have to communicate to the original developer.
A software similar to google drive would be ideal. The best case scenario would be a system that allows multiple users across agencies (or even private) to update a document or excel-style file and see the changes in real time. This does not have to be in Microsoft, as long as it could be saved as a Microsoft file and could be opened in Word, Excel, or other.
