Startup idea to develop a robust and automatically updated dashboard charting tool, integrated with SharePoint. It should improve visual representation, eliminate the need for manual updates and provide an alternative to the current system of exporting to Excel for generating pivot tables.

We currently use a SharePoint list as a dashboard of active strategic and tactical projects. It can have multiple views in list style, but we are unable to get a robust visual of the complete list in chart form. We have resorted to exporting the list to excel, maintains the connection to the list, generating a pivot table in Excel and then adding a view of the excel chart to the SharePoint site. It constantly needs refreshed as changes are made and there is no easy way to do this either. A robust, automatically updated SharePoint dashboard charting tool or alternative to SharePoint is what is required for this gap in our capabilities.

There are plenty of analytics tools but none that integrate seamlessly with SharePoint that I am aware of.
