Startup Idea: Service Search Tool for Internal Team Collaboration

Summary for idea #2935
Startup idea to develop a software tool designed to enhance internal collaboration in large IT companies. The tool enables employees to search for specific services or teams and find detailed information about the team members' roles and contact details. This targeted information simplifies the process of finding the right person to speak to regarding a specific task or issue

I am a web designer who works for a company with 800+ employees in the IT industry. The specific team I am on requires us to do a lot of collaboration with other specific teams when needed. At times, especially if you are newer, it is hard know who to talk to about a specific aspect because this information is not consistently written down in a single place and you have to rely on word of mouth and people who have been there longer than you.

For example, if I want to have an accessibility review on my code, I know that there is a team that handles that but I have no idea who specifically on the team I would bring this to and I do not even know the people on the team since the company is larger. This is mainly an issue if you are a new employee or an employee that does not normally interact with a certain team but have to at some point.

A solution to this issue I would like to see would be a service search tool. Kind of like an employee search tool where you search a name and it returns to you contact information, however this service search tool would allow you to search for a service or team and then it lists the specific people and their roles on the team with context to help to narrow down who to contact.
