Startup Idea: Baseball Player Statistics Tracking Software

Startup idea to develop a software that simplifies the tracking of player statistics per game over a baseball season. The software should automatically update and summarize data after each game, reducing the effort and time consumed by manual updates. The platform should also present the stats in an accessible, visual form for public viewing post-season.

My husband is a baseball coach and is always trying to records his players stats. He keeps this detailed and in depth, lengthy database through excel of all the baseball statistics for each player. After games, it is a lengthy process to update and migrate all the information on each player. At the end of the season, it could take DAYS to complete the total information.

Excel is a great resource to use for updating this excel charting but totaling the information the correct way is the difficult part. I wish there was an easy software that would allow you to track the statistics per player per game and then at the end of the season, feature it for anyone to view without my husband having to devote days and weeks figuring out all the books on these stats.
