Startup Idea: Traffic and Parking Optimization Software

Startup idea to develop a software that analyzes traffic patterns to recommend optimal departure times and routes for enhanced time and gas efficiency. Additionally, a feature to display all parking possibilities in crowded areas, in tandem with real-time parking restrictions to evade parking tickets.

I am a social worker and I have to drive around a lot for appointments. It is especially difficult driving around high traffic areas like Los Angeles.

It would be helpful to have software that could analyze traffic patterns and tell you when is the best time to leave your location in order to get your destination. This would help so that you don't leave during high traffic times and so that you can best maximize your time with the route you take and maximize your gas efficiency.

Another app that would be helpful is something that shows all your parking options in highly populated areas, such as the Los Angeles area. So that when you get to your destination, you can see where you can park for street parking, metered parking, parking in a paid lot, etc. You should also be able to view the street signs for that street, such as street sweeping or the hours that you can park there so that you can avoid getting a ticket.
